What better setting than this? We had THE most lovely afternoon eating and drinking and sunbathing (wots new?)with that blue blue sea twinkling behind us. Oh....and finally pictures of my new (old) Barchetta. Just perfect for cruising the Corniche!

Circuit was blocked with snow so we had to come back half way through but it made a good long trek. Really weird having drinks in the cafe afterwards with the snow piled right up the windows so we were sitting in the half dark. Just us, Siamak's daughter and Marti

Two years since the last viewing but once again marvelous with a musical theme throughout. How many hours must it take to rubber band all those little lemons and oranges onto just one giant guitar? ( And then on to Nathalie's Birthday party at Monaco afterwards.)

Finally summoned up courage to go up on the big wheel (not scary at all as it happens) and the views were great. Felt like a tourist, especially with my 'Barbe à Papa' (candyfloss).
See how many people were on the beach - not bad for February.

After a 4pm bedtime on New Years Eve, This 10 kilometre walk along the coast from Menton to Monaco was just what we all needed. (The 31st was a lovely dinner party in Monaco, watching a few fireworks from behind the palace and and then dancing to the band at the Casino Monte Carlo with our bottles of champagne, and then a few lickle bars....hic!. )We had lunch in the sun and watched the sky divers parachuting down onto the beach next to us at Roquebrune and finally ended up seeing the Monaco christmas lights before finally wending our way home. HAPPY NEW YEAR!
